Coolum Beach Breakers Junior AFL Club Sign-On Day

The Breakers entered the AFL Sunshine Coast Juniors competition in 2005. Since then, we have grown year on year and become known and respected as a club built on true family values.

During 2024 we were awarded AFL Queensland’s Club of the Year – a massive achievement
for a club just 19 years young.  Whilst we don’t have the shiniest and biggest club facilities on the Sunshine Coast, being awarded Club of the Year shows we provide a great experience thanks to the great culture of our members, passionate coaches and a welcoming and organised committee.

In 2025 we celebrate our 20th anniversary and we expect to field male and female
teams in every Junior and Youth age group, including the establishment of an u17 female team.  Having u17 in boys and girls teams creates the full junior pathway at the Breakers.
